AISB-709 Business Analyst

Position Context

As part of a strategic digital transformation and business process optimization program, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics.

Main Responsibilities

Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Collect, analyze, and formalize business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications.
• Perform business case analysis, vision documents, and project charters.
• Conduct risk analysis.
• Model business processes (BPMN, UML, or equivalent).
• Produce comprehensive requirements documentation.

Artificial Intelligence & Data Science

• Analyze and propose advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Data Mining solutions.
• Assess existing Business Intelligence solutions.
• Develop data models according to identified problem statements.
• Implement automated anomaly detection systems and monitor performance.
• Apply state-of-the-art data mining techniques.
• Participate in the design of IT architectures for NLP / ML / AI solutions.
• Contribute to defining data management vision, strategy, and policies.

Data Analytics & Governance

• Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Clean, process, and verify data integrity.
• Define data quality rules and controls.
• Interact with data stewards and IT stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy of data architectures.
• Guarantee strict compliance with GDPR and emerging AI regulations.

UI/UX & Application Solutions

• Develop detailed application mock-ups aligned with business needs.
• Specify and design presentation interfaces with optimal usability and user experience.
• Contribute to analytics architecture design and implementation (performance, capacity, physical design).
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).

Coordination & Communication

• Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, data scientists, and developers.
• Prepare and deliver high-level presentations.
• Manage cross-project interdependencies.
• Participate in multilingual meetings within an international environment.

Required Profile

Mandatory Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 17 years of experience in IT.
• Excellent knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, algorithms, and Large Language Models.
• Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
  • Predictive analytics (forecasting, recommendation systems)
  • Prescriptive analytics (simulation)
  • Sentiment analysis
  • Topic detection
  • Social media crawling and processing
  • Plagiarism detection
  • Trends and anomaly detection in datasets
  • Recommendation systems
• Knowledge of Graph Databases.
• Knowledge of application UI/UX design principles.

Additional Desirable Requirements

• Good knowledge of NLP systems lifecycle and Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with big data analytics, unstructured databases, and data lakes.
• Good knowledge of information systems.
• Understanding of large organizational administrative business processes.
• Strong knowledge of analysis and modeling tools (use case diagrams, state diagrams, ER models, interaction diagrams, etc.).
• Good knowledge of BPMN, UML, or equivalent methodologies.
• Familiarity with Wiki and collaborative platforms.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., RUP, Agile).
• Excellent knowledge of Data Analytics techniques and tools.
• Experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
• Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, PERL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL tools (MongoDB, Hadoop, SQL).
• Knowledge of scalable modern data architecture design and implementation.
• Rapid self-starting capability.
• Strong ability to prepare and write business analysis documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
• Strong presentation skills.
