We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Product/Service Owner to take the lead in developing and managing a critical development platform. This platform will serve as a cornerstone for hundreds of developers working within a public administration context. As a key member of our dynamic IT services team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the platform's successful delivery and continuous improvement, all while aligning it with the strategic objectives of the public administration.

Responsibilities:

• Platform Vision and Strategy: Craft a clear and compelling vision for the development platform, ensuring alignment with the goals and objectives of the public administration.
  Develop and execute a strategic roadmap outlining the platform's evolution over time.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to understand their needs and gather feedback for ongoing improvement.
  Establish robust relationships with external stakeholders within the public administration to ensure the platform meets their specific requirements.
• Product Development and Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation and maintenance.
  Work closely with development teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on their business value and impact.
• User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design: Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure the platform delivers an intuitive and user-friendly experience for developers.
  Conduct usability testing and collect feedback to refine and enhance the platform's interface.
• Release Planning and Deployment: Develop and maintain a comprehensive release schedule, coordinating with development and operations teams to ensure seamless and timely releases.
  Implement effective communication strategies to keep users informed about upcoming releases and changes.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the platform and regularly monitor and report on its performance.
  Implement optimization strategies to improve platform efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security experts to ensure the platform adheres to industry best practices and complies with relevant regulations.
  Implement and uphold security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain a secure development environment.
• Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation for developers, including user guides, API documentation, and best practices.
  Organize and conduct training sessions to empower developers to utilize the platform effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Service Owner in a similar context.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with public administration processes and requirements is advantageous.

Requirements:

• EU citizenship.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
• Strong experience in containerization, with a proven track record of effectively leveraging containerization technologies to enhance software development and deployment processes (mandatory).
