Responsibilities:

Software Development:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions to elevate our backup and storage services.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to create efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Identify optimization opportunities for continuous service improvement.

Automation and Orchestration:

• Utilize Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Python, and Bash/Shell scripting for automation and orchestration.
• Create automated workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks.
• Contribute to enhancing service scalability and reliability through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, architects, system administrators, and developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing activities to elevate the team's collective expertise.

Documentation:

• Thoroughly document code, scripts, and configurations for maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to technical documentation for backup and storage services.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Python, and Bash/Shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of backup and storage technologies and IaC principles.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions like AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage (a plus).

Experience:

• 3-5 years of development experience focusing on backup and storage services.
• Proven track record in collaborative agile environments.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirements:

• EU citizenship.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in another European language is a bonus.
