Role Overview:
As our OCP Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in deploying and managing OpenShift clusters, ensuring top-notch performance, reliability, and scalability of containerized applications. Your duties will include enforcing robust security measures, integrating monitoring tools, automating deployment processes, and devising disaster recovery plans for seamless system operation.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage OpenShift clusters, adhering to client requirements and specifications.
- Implement and enforce security measures within OpenShift, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Set up monitoring tools or integrate clusters into existing systems for comprehensive oversight.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and manage containerized workloads.
- Plan and test disaster recovery strategies for data integrity and rapid system recovery.
Desired Skills:
- Extensive experience in OpenShift Container Platform administration, cluster setup, and day-to-day management.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts, particularly within the OpenShift context.
- Proven ability to configure nodes, scale infrastructure efficiently, and deploy OpenShift clusters.
- Strong knowledge of OpenShift security features, RBAC, pod security policies, and best practices implementation.
- Experience in setting up monitoring and logging solutions for real-time visibility into cluster performance.
Other Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible.
- ITIL knowledge is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
