As part of our consulting activity, we are looking for a passionate cybersecurity architect to assist our client. This is a full-time position with telecommuting flexibility, but a presence on site in Gosselies is required at least two days a week.

Context:

Our client, engaged in an ambitious digital transformation plan and in the ISO27001 certification process, is looking for a cybersecurity architect to join the architecture service within its IT department.

Main Tasks:

As a cybersecurity architect, you will contribute to the vision and strategy of security architecture within the IT department. You will design, maintain, and implement security architecture, while recommending technological choices to ensure the consistency of security solution developments. Your responsibilities will also include documenting security architecture, collaborating with ISO security teams, conducting technological surveillance in cybersecurity, as well as training and raising awareness among architecture teams about security best practices.

Profile:

We are looking for an independent professional who can work in a team with excellent communication skills. You must be proactive, analytical, precise, and rigorous in your work, while being dynamic, composed, and stress-resistant. Your ability to synthesize and communicate with different levels of the organization is essential, as is your ability to solve problems innovatively and promote security within the IT department. You must possess a strong sense of ethics.

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

• Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, preferably as a security architect.
• Experience with security technologies (IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM, etc.) and network security practices.
• Thorough knowledge of security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS1, etc.).
• Knowledge of operating systems, mobile technologies, and cloud security architectures.
• Experience in Virtualization, Containers, and Microservices in a DevSecOps approach.
• Ability to design and implement complex security architectures.
• Knowledge of cryptography and application security.

Additional Skills:

• Programming/Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, .NET, etc.) are a plus.
• Professional certifications in security and/or architecture (TOGAF, CISSP, etc.) are highly appreciated.
• Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus.
