Program Manager

Join our team in Brussels and take on the exciting challenge of managing programs with a high degree of change and transformation.

These programs encompass both infrastructure and business-oriented projects within the IT sector.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Define project timelines and milestones.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities within project groups.
  • Mitigate risks and address issues related to project delivery.
  • Clarify high-level scope and technical synergies between sub-projects.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Supervise internal staff and external contractors.
  • Proactively propose technical solutions and innovations.
  • Report progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Implement a project review process for continuous improvement.
  • Invest in self-development and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Foster positive and constructive networks to promote project management activities.
  • Establish effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage conflicts, both technical and non-technical.
  • Facilitate operational functionality of project groups.
  • Assist in defining roles and responsibilities of project teams and stakeholders.
  • Address customer feedback and facilitate change management processes.

Non-Technical Profile Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision.
  • Quick learner and motivated self-starter.
  • Result-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Structured and organized approach to work.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • High accountability and team spirit values.
  • Comfortable with high levels of change management and complexity.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management.

Methodology/Certification Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Program/Project Management in the IT Sector.
  • Proficiency in Planview, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Certified ITIL Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on practice.
  • Familiarity with IBM methodologies and Agile principles.
  • Certification in PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent.

Language Proficiencies:

  • Proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
  • Good understanding of English.

Location:

  • Minimum 2 days/week onsite presence required.
  • Additional onsite presence may be necessary during project execution.
