Currently, we are collaborating with a major public transport operator in Wallonia to strengthen their technological infrastructure and promote forward-thinking initiatives.

Mission:

As a key partner to our client, we are seeking a seasoned Senior SAP Project Manager to lead a critical migration project from SAP ECC to Business Suite on Hana, hosted on Azure (SAP RISE). This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a transformational endeavor in the field of public transport, contributing to increased efficiency and sustainability.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end migration project, ensuring a seamless transition from SAP ECC to Business Suite on Hana.
• Establish Azure environments and oversee the setup required for hosting SAP instances.
• Coordinate security measures and align existing Azure environments with project requirements.
• Manage the adaptation of ABAP code to facilitate the migration from Oracle to HANA.
• Integrate the migration project with annual technical upgrades, potentially consolidating efforts for increased efficiency.
• Oversee user acceptance testing and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Profile:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in SAP project management, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Proven expertise in cloud migration projects, with a focus on Azure.
• Previous experience in SAP Rise projects is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects autonomously, delivering results within defined timelines and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and reach consensus.
• Fluency in French (both verbal and written) with good communication skills in English.

Additional Information:

• Initial workload estimated at 3/5, with potential for full-time engagement based on project dynamics.
• On-site work primarily in Namur, with flexibility to travel to various operational units across Wallonia (expenses covered).
• Flexible work arrangements, including the possibility of two fixed telecommuting days.
• Adherence to a structured work schedule, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with project stakeholders.
