Senior Windows Administrator

As a seasoned professional, you will tackle complex Windows issues, investigate problems, and manage the entire life cycle of Windows servers. If you are passionate about SCCM, SCOM, and possess a wealth of technical expertise, we want you to be part of our innovative team.
Responsibilities:
SCCM Mastery:
- Provide daily operational support for the Enterprise SCCM Infrastructure.
- Create and distribute applications, collections, and custom reports within the SCCM system.
- Troubleshoot and remediate all failed SCCM deployments and client errors.
- Administer the SCCM tool set back end to ensure optimum health based on Microsoft SCCM guidelines.
- Efficiently execute product installations, upgrades, patch installations, and hotfix installations.
- Handle system imaging, application packaging, and testing.
SCOM Expertise:
- Analyze, log, track, and resolve software/hardware issues.
- Implement notifications, subscriptions, and alerting mechanisms.
- Perform administrative tasks and maintenance plans for the entire System Center Operations Manager infrastructure.
- Create and maintain monitoring and notification rules.
- Audit and scope customer access to SCOM alerts and data.
- Generate reports on SCOM monitoring results using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) technology.
Technical Skills and Certifications:
- Windows 2008/2012/2016 Administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Operations Manager (SCOM).
- Familiarity with Windows-based Servers, Operating systems, and Monitoring Software.
- Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Orchestrator is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows PowerShell scripting.
Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to navigate and manage customer expectations.
- Participation in daily operational activities, including backup control and other control activities.
- Willingness to work in shifts and provide on-call support.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Windows administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

- Service requests and incident resolution.
- Problem Management, both proactive and reactive.
- Standard and complex changes, post-implementation review controls.
- Creation and improvement of Standard Operational Procedures.
- Evolution of monitoring tools and policy checks.
- Automation processes and script management.
- Workflow creation and management with Microsoft Orchestrator.
- Documentation management and continuous improvement.
