Your Role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and improving lending applications and document management systems within a complex financial environment.
You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, solutions are aligned with business needs, and systems deliver real value to end users.
This role combines functional analysis, user support, testing, and change management within both Agile and Waterfall project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to users on lending and document management applications
- Analyze business needs and define As-Is and To-Be processes
- Co-author business requirements with subject matter experts
- Draft and review user stories and prepare detailed test cases
- Act as the interface between business teams and IT stakeholders (developers, architects, project managers, data teams)
- Support developers and testers by clarifying functional and business requirements
- Execute business testing activities (test preparation, execution, validation)
- Provide guidance to users on document management tools and processes
- Support change management initiatives, including documentation and training materials
Profile
- University degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience in financial services or large-scale organizations is a strong asset
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and business teams
Key Skills
- Experience with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint)
- Knowledge of lending applications or loan lifecycle processes
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with process and data modeling (BPMN, UML, etc.)
- Understanding of change management processes
- Experience in business testing (test cases, test execution, validation)
- Knowledge of SQL or BI tools (e.g., SAP Business Objects, Cognos, etc.)
- Experience with workflow automation is a plus

- English: professional proficiency (C1)
- French: intermediate level (B2) is a plus
