Mission Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) to support day‑to‑day IT operations in a structured and security‑focused environment. The role focuses on workstation deployment, technical support, identity and access management, software lifecycle support, and basic network troubleshooting.
You will work on‑site and collaborate closely with IT, cyber security, and local project teams to ensure stability, security, and continuity of IT services.
Key Responsibilities
Provisioning & Deployment
- Prepare, configure, and deploy workstations using imaging and deployment tools
- Maintain accurate and organised inventories of hardware assets and peripherals
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues on Windows 10/11 devices
- Manage driver updates, BIOS configuration, and local peripheral support
Identity & Access Management
- Manage user accounts, security groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Support password resets and Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) enrolment
Software Lifecycle & Security Support
- Support office productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Adobe) and business‑specific applications
- Ensure endpoint compliance through regular patching and remote software distribution
- Assist in OS and application security improvements as directed
- Support cyber hygiene remediation tasks in coordination with Cyber Security teams
Network & Connectivity
- Troubleshoot LAN connectivity and basic networking issues to ensure seamless communication
Additional Support
- Contribute to local IT projects as required
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education & Experience
- Higher vocational education in a relevant IT discipline with minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or helpdesk roles
OR - Secondary education with minimum 4 years of relevant post‑qualification experience
Technical Skills
- Advanced support experience with Windows 10/11 Professional or Enterprise
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non‑technical users
- Professional mindset suitable for a structured, security‑driven environment
Language Skills
- English: Fluent (advanced)
Working Conditions
- On‑site clerical work in an office environment
- Limited physical work may be required
- Security clearance at NATO Secret level is mandatory

In in Bezug auf nicht-technische Kompetenzen stellt ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS dynamische Personen ein, die in die Welt, interessiert an Innovation und mit einem ausgeprägten Gespür für Kunden Beziehung.
Ein sehr Gute Englischkenntnisse sind unerlässlich, die Fähigkeit, Französisch, Deutsch oder Niederländisch zu sprechen ist eine Bereicherung.
Sogar Obwohl die meisten unserer Positionen mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung erfordern, sind einige offen für Neueinsteiger.
