At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a Penetration Tester to strengthen cybersecurity across complex IT environments. In this role, you will perform advanced security assessments, simulate real-world attack scenarios, and provide actionable recommendations to improve the resilience of critical systems and infrastructures. Your Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and follow up on penetration tests across various environments.

Perform different types of security assessments, including:
- Network penetration tests
- WLAN penetration tests
- Web application penetration tests
- Active Directory penetration tests
- Physical penetration tests (when required)
- Identify known and unknown vulnerabilities.
- Analyze security risks and simulate potential attack scenarios.
- Assess and quantify risks based on findings.
- Propose concrete measures to improve IT security.
- Document results and present them clearly and transparently to stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. GDPR, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS Directive).
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field or a recognized IT-related vocational qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT security.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing.
- Experience working in large organizations (corporate or public sector).

Strong knowledge of common penetration testing tools such as:
- Nmap
- Burp Suite
- Metasploit
- Nessus or OpenVAS
- sqlmap
- Ability to develop custom exploits or proof-of-concepts using languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Structured, precise, and traceable working style.
- German language skills at C1 level (both written and spoken) are mandatory.
