We are looking for a Virtualization Engineer to join our team and play a key role in modernizing virtualization platforms while ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability. As a Virtualization Engineer, you will focus on the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Nutanix infrastructure while supporting the migration from VMware. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and long-term maintainability of the virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and implement Nutanix solutions to replace existing VMware environments.
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtualized environments to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and storage teams to integrate Nutanix solutions into the broader IT landscape.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Support migration projects, including testing, validation, and post-migration support.
- Propose improvements to enhance automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong experience with Nutanix (required) and VMware virtualization technologies.
- Hands-on experience in virtualization architecture, deployment, and administration.
- Solid understanding of storage, networking, and compute integration in virtualized environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Relevant IT certifications (Nutanix, VMware, or similar) are a plus.
