We are looking for an experienced Senior Angular Developer to support an ambitious modernization and maintenance project. You will take the lead in the technical migration of an Enterprise Angular application, ensuring high standards of stability, security, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Execute the Angular frontend upgrade from version 15 to 21 without functional regressions
- Update dependencies and adjust build configurations, polyfills, and compiler pipelines
- Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including security and quality checks integration
- Conduct regression, integration, and UI stability testing, including cross-browser checks
- Produce technical documentation on migration steps, lessons learned, and known pitfalls
- Develop a rollback strategy and validate its reliability
Profile
Required skills:
- Several years of experience as a Senior Angular Developer on production applications
- Strong knowledge of Angular & TypeScript, ideally in migration projects
- Experience with dependency management and debugging complex frontends
- Experience with automated testing (unit/integration) and regression stabilization
- Structured, self-driven, and good communication skills
- Excellent German and good English proficiency
Desirable skills:
- CI/CD experience (e.g., Azure DevOps) and build optimization
- Knowledge of frontend observability / monitoring
- Familiarity with security and quality tools like Sonar or Veracode
Soft Skills:
- High autonomy and structured work style
- Strong communication and quality awareness
- Fast learner and pragmatic problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly understand complex systems
