Project Overview:
We are modernizing legacy web applications by completely redeveloping them with a modern architecture, updated functionalities, and contemporary design. The goal is to replace the old system environment and transition to a fully cloud-native solution. Existing applications will be enhanced with new features, while new applications will be developed from scratch.
Responsibilities:
Enhancement of Existing Web Applications:
- Further development of serverless ReactJS web applications with MySQL databases.
- Implement new features based on user stories.
- Ensure accessibility compliance for the frontend.
- Optimize existing Azure Functions.
- Perform error analysis and propose solutions.
- Improve operational performance.
- Execute package updates and conduct testing.
Specific Enhancements:
- Application 1 (Photo Repository):
- Separate employee groups with distinct view, read, and write permissions.
- Enable database export functionality.
- Application 2 (Workshop Booking):
- Redesign UI to align with Application 1.
- Extend input/view screens to include employee data.
- Integrate a new user group from another entity.
Development of New Applications:
- Migrate legacy data into new databases.
- Build serverless ReactJS web applications with MySQL based on existing tech stack and design concepts.
- Use Cases:
- Asset data management.
- Employee skill management with integrations to other systems.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript (Power BI knowledge is a plus).
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (ReactJS, VueJS, Angular).
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies (e.g., Azure Functions).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Experience working with Kanban boards and ticket-based workflows.

Although open to technologies used by our customers, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS seeks mainly but not only consultants mastering: Windows and Linux Servers, networks, developments (JAVA, SAP, .NET,…) as well as highly specialized experts for example in cybersecurity or in Content Management System (CMS) (SharePoint, Drupal, WebLogic…).

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
