AISB-885 Senior IT System Architect

Key responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the target architecture for hospital information systems (EHR) in multi-site or multi-organization environments.
  • Design robust and scalable integration architectures for complex healthcare systems.
  • Ensure consistency of technological choices aligned with interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
  • Contribute to technical governance and solution coordination within cross-functional IT programs.
  • Collaborate with business, technical, and project teams to ensure alignment between solutions and functional/regulatory requirements.
  • Support transformation and evolution of existing systems (Data Change Systems, BPM).

Profile required

  • Proven experience as a Senior IT System Architect.
  • Strong expertise in healthcare environments and complex EHR systems.
  • Solid knowledge of standards:
    • HL7
    • FHIR
    • DICOM
    • BPM
  • Strong background in system architecture and data integration.
  • Good understanding of hospital systems and clinical workflows.
  • Experience coordinating projects or programs involving multiple systems.

Language skills

  • French: professional proficiency
  • English: professional proficiency
  • Dutch: professional proficiency

Experience required

  • Experience defining target architectures for multi-site EHR programs or complex hospital groups.
  • Experience coordinating or implementing at least three different EHR systems in a European context.

Preferred certifications

  • PRINCE2 (Foundation) – nice to have
  • PMBOK – nice to have
