As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of large-scale back-end applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions. You will be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to optimization, troubleshooting, and documentation, while ensuring high-quality code and best practices.
Your Missions
- Develop and maintain back-end web applications.
- Implement core business logic and server-side functionality.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end teams with back-end logic.
- Design, create, and manage servers and databases.
- Design and implement efficient and secure data storage solutions.
- Ensure security and data protection best practices are applied.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs.
- Contribute to the design and development of scalable software architectures.
- Take the technical lead on projects when required.
- Maintain code quality, integrity, and organization.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable back-end code.
- Analyze data, processes, and code to identify issues and improvement areas.
- Test, debug, and resolve bugs or performance issues.
- Ensure solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
- Write clear and structured technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in technical discussions.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field.
- 17+ years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years in back-end development.
- Expert knowledge of Java / JEE (minimum 10 years).
- Expert knowledge of Cloud-based DevOps (minimum 3 years).
- Advanced knowledge of WebLogic Application Server (minimum 1 year).
- Mandatory Java EE Application Developer Certification.
Additional Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency with back-end frameworks and technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of the full web development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with databases such as Oracle and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git or SVN.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to deliver clear technical presentations.
Certifications Considered an Asset
- Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
