Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior System Administrator to support and maintain a complex enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple environments. The role involves hands‑on system administration, virtualization management, automation, and security‑focused operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical foundations, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in collaborative DevOps and SCRUM-driven teams.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & System Management
- Manage and support enterprise systems and daily operations using ServiceNow for incident, request, and change management.
- Maintain and administer virtual environments, including:
- VMware for core infrastructure
- Hyper‑V for delegation environments
- Nutanix/RESCOM for restricted and confidential environments
- Ensure optimal performance, stability, and security across all platform layers, especially in sensitive data environments.
Server Administration
- Perform administration of Windows Server 2016–2022, including File Server roles, Active Directory, GPO, and AGMP with strong security governance.
- Support Red Hat Linux infrastructures with a particular focus on Red Hat Satellite.
- Monitor systems using SolarWinds and contribute to ongoing migration projects using Dynatrace.
Automation, Scripting & Patching
- Design and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and PowerShell Universal.
- Use Ansible for automation tasks, especially for Linux/Satellite environments.
- Coordinate and execute patching cycles using SCCM for Windows ecosystems.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline operations, automate tasks, and improve system reliability.
Collaboration & DevOps
- Work closely with DevOps teams in a SCRUM framework, participating in sprints and project activities.
- Support ongoing infrastructure projects and contribute to operational optimization initiatives.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Networks (Security).
- Experience with Cisco networking, including Cisco ACI.
- Familiarity with F5 technologies.
- Solid experience in virtualization, scripting, and enterprise system administration.
Additional Requirements
- English proficiency (C1 minimum).
- Minimum 5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
- Hybrid work policy: 2 days remote / 3 days on‑site.
