AISB-613 Junior Application Tester

Role Overview

As a Junior Application Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring software quality by designing and executing test strategies for various applications. You will collaborate closely with functional analysts, developers, and end-users to deliver reliable and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a solid understanding of the technical environment and functional requirements.
  • Define test strategies for internally developed ICT applications and end-to-end user tests.
  • Prepare test data and execute functional and non-functional tests.
  • Support acceptance testing and guide users through the process.
  • Create regression tests to quickly identify potential software issues.
  • Contribute to test automation or collaborate with team members to implement it.
  • Analyze, document, and report test results to functional analysts and developers.
  • Ensure follow-up on defect resolution with relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Testing methodologies: ISTQB or TMap (Junior level).
  • Tools: SoapUI or similar for API testing (SOAP/REST), Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Technical: Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Agile/Scrum experience (Junior level).
  • Understanding of test automation principles.
  • Dutch or FrenchLevel   Native

  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • High sense of responsibility, flexibility, and initiative.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work: 2 days onsite in Brussels, remaining days remote.
