Mission Context
The energy sector is undergoing a major shift, and you will be part of a team dedicated to redesigning how customers engage throughout the entire connection lifecycle. This includes connection requests, document management, modifications, termination processes, and more — all driven by transparency, efficiency, and data-centric decision-making.
The current systems are evolving from a highly customized SAP CRM on-premise environment toward a modern landscape built on SAP BTP, integrated with S/4HANA 2023 sales modules, and extended with a new generation of IT capabilities such as the EPIC customer portal. You will be part of a product team pushing the boundaries of innovation within a state-of-the-art SAP ecosystem.
Your Role
As a Full-Stack SAP BTP Developer, you will drive the development of next-generation tools that streamline customer interactions and reinforce operational excellence. Working within a dynamic product team, you will bring both front-end and back-end expertise to create robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop front-end interfaces using Fiori Elements and UI5
- Build scalable back-end services using CAP and CDS
- Implement back-end logic with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Contribute to the decommissioning of legacy CRM and build future-ready solutions on SAP BTP
- Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, and product teams
- Apply DevOps practices, version control, and transport management using Git and Cloud ALM
- Document technical designs and ensure high-quality delivery
- Work within an Agile setup using Jira
Experience with SAP SD processes or implementation is considered a strong plus.
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full-stack development or equivalent proven expertise
- Hands-on proficiency in SAP BTP development
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Experience in Agile delivery environments
- Fluent in English + good command of Dutch or French or German
Work Environment

Hybrid setup with mandatory 2 days on-site in central Brussels (accessible near Central Station)
- Occasional travel to Berlin (2–3 days, once or twice annually)

Although open to technologies used by our customers, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS seeks mainly but not only consultants mastering: Windows and Linux Servers, networks, developments (JAVA, SAP, .NET,…) as well as highly specialized experts for example in cybersecurity or in Content Management System (CMS) (SharePoint, Drupal, WebLogic…).
