At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Centre & Private Cloud Expert to support strategic and operational initiatives within a critical IT environment. As a senior expert, you will play a key role in the design, optimization, and governance of data centre computer room services, while contributing to both operational excellence and long-term strategy. You will act with a high level of autonomy and bring strong expertise in DCIM tools (notably Nlyte) and data centre operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical guidance on data centre environments, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, monitoring, and governance
- Lead and manage projects related to data centre operations and private cloud services
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment with business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of internal processes and drive continuous improvement and service reliability
- Ensure high-quality documentation, reporting, and deliverables
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and cross-functional activities
- Oversee and supervise managed services within the data centre ecosystem
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, standards, and security requirements
- Contribute to defining the strategy and future roadmap of data centre services, including innovation initiatives and business cases
- Support performance monitoring and continuous service improvement initiatives
Your Profile
- Minimum 20 years of experience in data centre environments (design, configuration, operations, leadership)
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with Nlyte DCIM solution
- Strong expertise in data centre operations, infrastructure management, and private cloud environments
- Proven experience in project management and stakeholder coordination
- Solid understanding of IT governance, service management, and security standards
- Project Management certification (PM2 or equivalent preferred)
- ITIL certification (IT Service Management)
- Six Sigma Green Belt (process improvement)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Fluent in English and French (C1 minimum required)
