AISL-280 Project Manager - Transversal Initiatives

At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale transversal initiatives within complex IT environments. In this role, you will coordinate projects that involve multiple teams, platforms, and services while ensuring structured governance, risk management, and clear stakeholder alignment. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys navigating complex ecosystems, facilitating collaboration across teams, and ensuring that strategic technology initiatives are delivered successfully.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transversal IT initiatives involving multiple teams and domains, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and expected outcomes.
• Develop and maintain structured project plans, timelines, and action trackers, ensuring that key milestones and deliverables are achieved.
• Facilitate effective collaboration and communication between stakeholders, technical teams, and contributing departments.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, dependencies, and potential blockers, and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are implemented.
• Organize and lead status meetings and coordination sessions to maintain alignment across teams.
• Prepare clear status reports, dashboards, and governance updates to provide visibility on project progress and key decisions. 
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in project management within IT or digital environments.
• Proven experience coordinating transversal initiatives across multiple teams.
• Experience in infrastructure, platform, or IT service environments is an advantage.
• Experience working in complex or public-sector environments is considered a plus.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Ability to drive project delivery without direct hierarchical authority.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, SAFe Agile, or hybrid approaches.
• Experience managing risks and dependencies in multi-team environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, structured, and disciplined follow-up approach.
