Are you an experienced ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist looking to contribute to a large-scale digital transformation initiative? We're seeking a highly skilled freelance consultant to help design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade Software Asset Management solutions in a complex, mission-critical IT environment.
This is a fully remote opportunity for EU-based freelancers who are passionate about delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions and driving software license compliance across large organizations.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.
- Develop detailed technical concepts and lead the end-to-end implementation.
- Ensure software license compliance through automated software discovery, usage analysis, and entitlement management.
- Configure and maintain Software Models, Publisher Packs, and integrate Discovery data with the CMDB for accurate software entitlement mapping.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient SAM processes.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using industry-standard interfaces.
What We're Looking For
Required Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro.
- Solid knowledge of MECM Spoke and REST API integrations.
- Experience integrating SAP data into ServiceNow processes.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft licensing and software compliance best practices.
- Experience working with CMDB, Discovery, Software Models, and Publisher Packs.
Languages
- English: Professional proficiency (C1 or equivalent).
- German: A plus, but not mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience delivering projects for large public sector or enterprise organizations.
- Existing security clearance or willingness to undergo a security screening before project onboarding.
