Your Role

En tant Tribe Test Engineer (Test Automation & Quality Strategy), vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l'amélioration de la qualité au sein d'une organisation Agile de grande envergure fournissant des produits et services numériques.

You will act as a central coordinator for test automation and quality assurance activities across multiple squads, ensuring alignment on standards, tools, and best practices. You will contribute to shaping and evolving the overall test strategy while supporting teams in delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.

This role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder collaboration in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Leadership & Technical Oversight

  • Define and continuously improve the test automation strategy at tribe level
  • Review and challenge squad-level automation (API, UI) to increase reliability, efficiency, and coverage
  • Assess and improve automation frameworks in terms of scalability and maintainability
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor and analyze automation metrics (execution time, flakiness, coverage) to support data-driven decisions

Stakeholder Alignment & Communication

  • Translate technical challenges into clear and actionable recommendations
  • Facilitate workshops and promote best practices (shift-left testing, BDD, service virtualization)
  • Report on progress, risks, and blockers to leadership in a structured and transparent way
  • Advocate for automation investments by demonstrating value and ROI
  • Align testing priorities with business goals and delivery timelines
  • Act as an escalation point for complex testing and automation issues

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in test management or quality assurance with a strong focus on automation
  • Proven experience defining and improving test strategies in Agile environments
  • Strong expertise in API testing (e.g., RestAssured, Karate) and service virtualization (e.g., WireMock)
  • Experience with UI test automation (e.g., Playwright, Appium)
  • Solid knowledge of test frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG) and BDD methodologies
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Understanding of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
  • Ability to translate business requirements into test strategies and risk-based approaches

Souhaités :
