At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple strategic projects within a large-scale digital transformation program. You will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery while managing scope, timelines, budget, and stakeholder alignment.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and manage project scope, planning, and budget
- Lead simultaneous projects, ensuring alignment with program objectives
- Monitor project progress (development, infrastructure, release) in terms of time, cost, and quality
- Provide clear and structured reporting to stakeholders and management
- Identify risks early and propose mitigation strategies
- Coordinate production releases and ensure smooth go-lives
- Manage and follow up on change requests (impact analysis, recommendations, decisions)
- Ensure proper documentation, governance, and methodology compliance
- Oversee resource allocation and capacity management in collaboration with team leads
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients
- Act as a leader and coach, fostering collaboration and team performance
- Apply a management-by-exception approach, escalating issues when necessary
Your Expertise
- End-to-end IT project management in complex environments
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, backlog management, epics & user stories)
- Project governance frameworks such as PRINCE2
- Budget, risk, and scope management
- Change management processes
- Stakeholder communication (internal & external)
- Team and people management within project contexts
- Coordination of testing activities and delivery cycles
- Experience in social security, eHealth, or public sector environments
- Background in administrative or business process-driven applications
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a Senior/Expert IT Project Manager
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
- Excellent communication skills with diplomacy and assertiveness
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and complex situations
- Strategic mindset with a high-level understanding of business needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience coaching teams in Agile environments is a plus
- Fluent in French and Dutch
