ABAKUS-IT-SOLUTIONS is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance complex financial systems in a production environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, automation, and continuous improvement of critical financial platforms while contributing to cloud and DevOps transformation initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide production support for complex financial systems (e.g. WallStreet Suite, TRM, RM Derivatives, CompatibL, Murex or similar)
- Manage data provisioning and transformation workflows
- Administer and maintain databases and applications
- Design and implement automation solutions
- Work with Azure DevOps, Git, Kubernetes, and Terraform in cloud environments
- Take ownership of medium to large-scale technical projects (planning, execution, delivery)
- Manage and optimize database systems:
- MongoDB (primary focus)
- SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Azure databases
- Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Unix Shell, and Python
- Implement and improve Disaster Recovery processes and procedures
- Create and maintain monitoring and reporting (Splunk)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Your Profile
Mandatory
- Master’s degree in Information Science, Finance, Corporate Governance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- At least 3 years of experience in financial systems support and maintenance
- Strong experience in:
- Production support environments
- Cloud and DevOps tools (Azure, Git, Kubernetes)
- Database management and scripting
Preferred
- Experience with Agile methodologies and technical project management
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Tanzu
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Shell, Python)
- Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk
- Good level of English
