Your Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, existing systems, and integration interfaces, including SWIFT message processing
- Design, develop, test, and deploy message flows on IBM AppConnect Enterprise (ACE)
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues related to ESB services
- Produce technical documentation (integration design, configuration and deployment procedures, user guides)
- Provide support and maintenance for IBM ACE, IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), IBM MQ, and WSO2 Micro-Integrator on Linux
- Monitor performance, availability, and health of ESB infrastructure and services
- Coordinate issue resolution with middleware vendor support teams
- Perform middleware patching and upgrades
- Participate in failover and disaster recovery testing
- Automate manual processes using Ansible and Azure DevOps pipelines
Profile
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in similar roles
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IBM AppConnect Enterprise (ACE)
- Good knowledge of IBM Transformation Extender (ITX)
- Expertise in IBM MQ
- Knowledge of WSO2 Micro-Integrator
- Experience with SWIFT message processing (MT and MX formats)
- Strong skills in data transformation (XSLT, eSQL, ESB tools)
- Good understanding of messaging systems and protocols (MQ, SFTP, SOAP, REST)
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C#)
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, WS-Security, certificates)
- Good SQL knowledge
- Experience with troubleshooting tools (Bash, Python, SOAP UI, Postman)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, Splunk, ELK)
Functional & Operational Skills
- Ability to analyze complex systems and understand integration needs
- Develop and customize integration interfaces using IBM ACE and IBM MQ
- Work with messaging systems, protocols, and standards
- Handle SWIFT messages within application flows
- Apply best practices for designing message flows
- Implement security mechanisms in flows (OAuth, WS-Security, certificate-based authentication)
- Administer and troubleshoot IBM ACE and IBM MQ environments
- Perform automation, monitoring, and log analysis using specialized tools
