Your Mission

Cloud Platforms & Modernization

• Enhance reliability and resilience of cloud platforms within a major system replatforming initiative.
• Modernize legacy applications hosted both on‑premises and across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and other cloud providers.
• Ensure seamless service continuity while progressively transforming existing systems.
• Implement monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK Stack, or OpenTelemetry for integration and performance observability.

Architectural Design & System Integration

• Design cloud‑ready, scalable solution architectures.
• Build integration strategies using middleware solutions and standard integration patterns (publish‑subscribe, request‑reply, event‑driven).
• Containerize applications (Docker) with a preference for cloud‑agnostic approaches.
• Apply interoperability standards such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Secure applications following OWASP best practices and manage secrets with modern security tooling.

CI/CD & DevOps Excellence

• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines integrated with cloud‑hosted systems.
• Collaborate closely with operations teams to streamline infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, etc.).
• Transfer DevOps knowledge and drive best‑practice adoption across teams.

Strategic Planning & Optimization

• Propose performance, scalability, and maintainability improvements.
• Develop modernization strategies for legacy systems and manage technical debt.
• Participate in roadmap planning and estimation for mid‑ and long‑term initiatives.
• Consider licensing, compliance, and dependency constraints in architectural decisions.
• Work within Agile/Scrum or DevSecOps environments.

API & Data Engineering

• Design standardized APIs for interoperability and data exchange.
• Develop REST, GraphQL, and OpenAPI‑based services.
• Implement versioning strategies and distributed event‑driven integrations.
• Manage data systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, including migration strategies.
• Write SQL and use database administration tools effectively.

Documentation & Communication

• Produce clear, structured technical documentation.
• Communicate complex concepts to cross‑functional teams.
• Support collaborative decision‑making across engineering groups.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (EQF level 6).

Certifications (Mandatory)

• At least one Microsoft Azure Expert‑level certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner (or equivalent cloud provider certification).

Languages

• Excellent command of English (C1 level).
• Good command of French (B2 or native).

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in relevant IT domains.
