Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a high-impact initiative spanning multiple IT units. This role involves end-to-end project ownership—from planning through execution—while ensuring alignment with cybersecurity standards and stakeholder expectations.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in IT project management, excellent coordination skills, and a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Drive execution across cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the central liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular updates, manage expectations, and ensure transparent communication.
Cybersecurity Integration
- Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to assess risks and define security requirements.
- Support the implementation of essential cybersecurity controls throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience in IT project management or digital transformation.
- Proven success in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- Experience working within or alongside structured IT organizations (e.g., DIGIT or similar) is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong command of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Familiarity with ITIL service management practices or certifications.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and coordinate diverse teams.

Although open to technologies used by our customers, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS seeks mainly but not only consultants mastering: Windows and Linux Servers, networks, developments (JAVA, SAP, .NET,…) as well as highly specialized experts for example in cybersecurity or in Content Management System (CMS) (SharePoint, Drupal, WebLogic…).

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
