AISB-899 Lead Enterprise Architect

Role Objective

The Lead Enterprise Architect is responsible for ensuring alignment between business needs and IT solutions. The role is central to the organization’s digital transformation, driving and governing the overall enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy and Architecture

  • Define and implement the digital transformation strategy
  • Establish and maintain an enterprise architecture framework
  • Define architecture standards
  • Develop a multi-year transformation roadmap

2. Architecture Governance

  • Set up governance structures (committees, validation processes)
  • Lead architecture boards
  • Ensure consistency across architectural decisions
  • Participate in deliverable validation

3. IT Transformation

  • Drive the modernization of the information systems landscape
  • Ensure consistency between legacy systems and new solutions
  • Oversee application portfolio rationalization
  • Contribute to cloud strategy
  • Participate in cybersecurity initiatives (IAM, NIS2, asset management)
  • Support infrastructure transformation

4. Design and Modeling

  • Design functional and technical architectures
  • Develop capability maps and reference architectures
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Ensure proper solution documentation

5. Collaboration and Leadership

  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders
  • Provide strategic recommendations to management
  • Coach and mentor architects and project teams
  • Coordinate architecture activities across strategic programs

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in complex IT environments
  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture and digital transformation
  • Experience in the public sector is a strong advantage

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IT architecture principles (TOGAF is a plus)
  • Expertise in modeling: ArchiMate, BPMN, UML
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with microservices and application integration
  • Knowledge of data and infrastructure architecture
