AISB-883 Business Analyst

Main responsibilities

  • Translate risk process requirements into clear and adapted functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with risk modelling teams to integrate model updates into applications.
  • Analyse the impact of changes on:
    • existing systems;
    • business processes;
    • risk indicators (expected losses, risk-weighted assets, credit loss reserves, regulatory capital);
    • internal and external reporting;
    • risk-based pricing.
  • Understand interactions between different applications and IT architectures.
  • Participate in testing and validation phases.
  • Document requirements, analyses, and results.
  • Communicate impacts to business users, project teams, and management.

Candidate profile

  • Higher education degree (university or equivalent) with strong analytical skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
  • Experience working in complex and large-scale IT environments.
  • Strong functional and technical analysis skills.
  • Good knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in data analysis, requirements documentation, and functional testing.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Ability to understand complex IT architectures and integrations through APIs or batch processes.
  • Basic programming knowledge is an advantage to communicate effectively with development teams.

Business experience

  • Experience in the credit domain.
  • Experience supporting an Agile development squad.
  • Experience working in a large company or complex business environment.
  • Knowledge of credit risk, risk models, or banking processes is an asset.
  • Experience with European credit and risk regulations is a plus.
  • Background or experience in mathematics, statistics, or economics is appreciated.

Language requirements

  • French: good level in speaking and writing.
  • Dutch: good level in speaking and writing.
  • English: fluent written communication skills and good spoken communication skills.
