We are looking for an experienced Application Security Expert to join the Application Security & Vulnerability Management team of a leading international banking organization.
In this role, you will help strengthen secure software development practices across the organization by supporting development teams, managing security tooling, performing security assessments, and promoting a security-first mindset within Agile and DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development teams in adopting Secure Development and SecDevOps practices.
- Manage and maintain application security tools and related infrastructure.
- Conduct security code reviews using SAST tools.
- Analyze third-party libraries through Software Composition Analysis (SCA).
- Review vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.
- Deliver training sessions and coaching on secure coding and application security.
- Maintain security guidelines, policies, and reporting.
- Act as the application security expert on projects and security initiatives.
Profile
- Strong background in software development.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong interest in Application Security and Vulnerability Management.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, and Docker.
- Knowledge of network security and secure coding practices.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Education & Languages
- Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent English skills are mandatory.
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
