Mission Context
Within the scope of ongoing and upcoming evolutions of a mission‑critical digital platform, several functional and technical enhancements are planned for the coming delivery cycles.
To support these developments, the development team is looking for an experienced Functional Analyst to reinforce the team. The role covers functional analysis, development follow‑up, migration monitoring, and testing activities related to new features and system evolutions.
The ideal candidate is proactive, quickly autonomous, and able to deliver added value from the start in a demanding and fast‑moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Performing detailed functional and requirements analysis
- Translating business needs into clear and structured specifications (requirements, user stories, UML, BPMN)
- Supporting and monitoring development activities in close collaboration with technical teams
- Following and supporting data and application migrations
- Designing, writing, and executing functional and technical test plans
- Contributing to test automation and validation activities
- Participating actively in Agile / Scrum ceremonies
- Using project tracking and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Ensuring attention to security, observability, and performance aspects
Required Technical Skills
Mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst
- Strong experience in complex IT environments (architecture, integrations, data flows)
- Solid expertise in functional and requirements analysis
- Proven experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Experience in testing activities (test plans creation, execution, and follow‑up)
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL (queries, data validation)
- Experience with REST APIs, Postman, SOAP UI
- Knowledge of security concepts (OAuth 2.0, OpenID, OWASP)
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with UML and BPMN
- Understanding of observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces)
- Familiarity with GIT, Java, and monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana)
Languages
- French: Native or fluent
- Dutch: Active knowledge
- English: Active knowledge

In in Bezug auf nicht-technische Kompetenzen stellt ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS dynamische Personen ein, die in die Welt, interessiert an Innovation und mit einem ausgeprägten Gespür für Kunden Beziehung.
Ein sehr Gute Englischkenntnisse sind unerlässlich, die Fähigkeit, Französisch, Deutsch oder Niederländisch zu sprechen ist eine Bereicherung.
Sogar Obwohl die meisten unserer Positionen mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung erfordern, sind einige offen für Neueinsteiger.
