AISB-799 Service Delivery Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Manager to operate in a demanding international environment focused on critical operations and services. This role is suited for a professional capable of managing complex IT services, ensuring their availability and performance, and coordinating effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Your Mission

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of services related to deployable CIS infrastructure, with a strong focus on availability, security, and service quality. You will contribute to operational, strategic, and governance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure service availability, performance, and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Manage the full IT service lifecycle (design, transition, operation, continuous improvement)
• Coordinate across technical teams, support units, vendors, and stakeholders
• Oversee configuration management and change management processes
• Anticipate risks and lead corrective actions or improvement initiatives
• Contribute to budget planning and operational resource management
• Manage vendors and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance of delivered services
• Support operational exercises and service transition activities
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and provide regular reporting

Profile Required

Education & Experience:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience
  or
• In the absence of a university degree, a minimum of 6 years of extensive and progressive experience in related duties

Experience:

• Proven 5 years' experience as a Service Delivery Manager, IT Service Manager, or similar role, specifically in managing business application services
• Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL recommended)

Skills:

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing vendors and working in complex environments

Certifications:

• ITIL Foundation (mandatory)
• Advanced ITIL or project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are an asset

Specific Conditions

• Work environment combining office-based and operational activities
• Occasional travel may be required
• Participation in dynamic operational contexts

Security Clearance

• Required level: NATO Secret (mandatory)
