We are looking for a highly skilled Expert Software Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative environment within a large-scale agile delivery context. Your Role
As a key contributor, you will:
- Design, develop, and optimize API-driven and microservices-based architectures
- Work within large agile delivery teams, contributing to continuous improvement and high-quality delivery
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications in a hybrid cloud environment
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable deployments
- Contribute to event-driven systems, ensuring scalability and resilience
- Support the setup, optimization, and maintenance of development, testing, acceptance, and production environments
- Integrate and leverage PaaS solutions where appropriate
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer at expert level
- Strong expertise in:
- Java SE (10+)
- Microservices architecture & integration
- API design and development
- Solid experience with:
- Cloud-native development
- Event-driven architecture
- CI/CD implementation and optimization
- NoSQL databases
- Hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with Quarkus framework is a plus
- Experience in software design across cloud, API, microservices, and event-based systems
Languages
- Proficiency in English
- Good working knowledge of Dutch or French
Location & Work Setup
- Hybrid work model combining remote work and on-site presence in Brussels
