ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is looking for a Senior Pega System Architect to join our dynamic team. If you enjoy designing complex Pega applications, proposing innovative solutions, and working in a collaborative, Agile environment, this role could be a perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify reusable transversal components and define the architecture of business applications.
- Enhance and maintain the Soluce application as well as the Orion platform core.
- Translate functional specifications into Pega solutions, proposing multiple options with pros and cons.
- Ensure alignment with Pega best practices and existing technical architecture.
- Build, configure, develop, and parametrize full features (including user interfaces when required) and granular components (functions, connectors, transformations, jobs, extensions, etc.).
- Document development work thoroughly.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with functional analysts and product owners to refine and challenge requirements.
- Conduct unit testing and assist in solution design decisions alongside the Pega platform architect.
- Estimate analysis, development, and testing efforts accurately.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Pega PRPC – Senior level (T3) experience.
- Layer Cake Pega – Senior level (T3) experience.
- ABAC/RBAC – Confirmed level (T2) experience.
- Designing and building complex applications with more than 10 case types in “Layer Cake” – Confirmed level (T2).
- Connectors: REST, SOAP, HTTP, FTP – Senior level (T3).
- Cosmos Theme – Confirmed level (T2).
- Languages: French – C2 proficiency.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Team player with an analytical mindset and ability to challenge received information.
- Proactive, with initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
