We’re looking for a SharePoint Development Specialist to help modernize and enhance business‑critical portals, moving from the Server Object Model to SharePoint APIs and implementing extranet access through Entra ID. You’ll work in Agile Scrum (4‑week sprints), create clear user stories with acceptance criteria, and back your work with automated test coverage for quality, security, and usability. Documentation and collaborative engineering practices are part of the day‑to‑day.
What You’ll Do
- Refactor NCInfo and CMS portals to use SharePoint APIs (away from the Server Object Model) and enable Entra ID for extranet access.
- Author user stories (with acceptance criteria) and maintain a SharePoint development backlog.
- Automate testing (quality, vulnerability, stability, usability, security).
- Write documentation for new and refactored features.
- Deliver in Agile Scrum (4‑week sprints), completing assigned story points (Fibonacci).
- Collaborate via Azure DevOps: handle work items daily and commit code at least weekly.
What You’ll Bring
- SharePoint customizations experience: farm solutions, add‑ins, and client‑side solutions.
- Strong C#/.NET and JavaScript (jQuery for classic pages; SPFx + React for modern pages).
- Solid grasp of CSS, PowerShell, Azure Repos, Azure DevOps Boards & Pipelines.
- TDD mindset, with hands‑on Microsoft Playwright experience.
- Proven teamwork in Scrum environments
- Background with document coordination & committee‑work portals (e.g., NC3Info / NATO CMS or similar).
- Security: Valid NATO Secret (NS) clearance.
