At ABAKUS IT Solutions, we are looking for a Technical Architect Pega to join an architecture team on a punctual, on-demand basis. In this role, you will provide strategic expert guidance, hands-on technical support, and mentoring for Pega platform upgrades, deployments, and optimizations. Your mission is to ensure that internal teams not only achieve smooth platform migrations but also gain the skills and documentation to operate autonomously and efficiently.
Your missions :
- Planning and executing upgrades of Pega Infinity 24.1, 24.2, and future versions within a Kubernetes sandbox environment, ensuring smooth migration and minimal disruption
- Documenting all actions and deployment procedures in a structured and clear way to enable internal teams to manage and maintain the environments independently
- Providing expert-level support and advice on Pega PRPC, Deployment Manager (with or without), Pega Diagnostic Cloud (PDC), and Kubernetes-specific hosting challenges
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and networking, ensuring alignment on technical and operational requirements
- Anticipating potential dependencies or blockers, communicating effectively to all stakeholders, and ensuring environments are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Ensuring recommendations, guidelines, and documentation are adapted to organizational standards while promoting best practices and innovation
Your Profile
- French or Dutch – C2 and English – C2
- Strong mastery of Pega Layer Cake architecture and Pega PRPC
- Deployment experience with or without Deployment Manager
- Integration technologies: REST, SOAP, HTTP, FTP, databases
- Java and Kubernetes
- Security & identity: RBAC, Keystore, OIDC
- Excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail
- Proactive, analytical, solution-oriented, and comfortable challenging requirements or assumptions
- Team player with collaborative mindset, capable of mentoring and guiding colleagues
