Mission Context
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our architecture team and support a major digital transformation in an agile environment. You will work closely with agile teams to design and deliver innovative solutions while managing existing legacy systems.
This role requires a senior profile with strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with agile teams to design and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
- Develop architectures and frameworks that support digital transformation.
- Document and address data structures, solution architecture, and system requirements throughout the full lifecycle.
- Create Archimate designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Work with legacy systems while introducing innovative ideas for modernization.
- Support mobile app and website architecture initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between business, IT, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and prioritization.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience (preferably 10), including development and analysis.
- 4–5 years in solution architecture within large, complex organizations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and high-volume transaction environments.
- Experience with Archimate, mobile apps, and websites.
- Awareness of mainframe environments (no deep expertise required).
- Broad business knowledge and ability to work across multiple domains.
Preferable:
- Familiarity with advanced technologies (AI, machine learning, NLP, data mining).
Business Knowledge
- Mandatory: GDPR compliance
- Preferable: PSD2, private loans/leasing, card payments, CRM, accounting
Education & Certification
- University degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent).
- TOGAF certification required.
Languages
- Dutch: Good
- French: Good
- English: Fluent (spoken and written)
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to guide remote architects and act as SPOC for the chief architect.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Proactive, self-starter, and team player.
- Ability to manage teleworking and maintain stakeholder engagement.

In in Bezug auf nicht-technische Kompetenzen stellt ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS dynamische Personen ein, die in die Welt, interessiert an Innovation und mit einem ausgeprägten Gespür für Kunden Beziehung.
Ein sehr Gute Englischkenntnisse sind unerlässlich, die Fähigkeit, Französisch, Deutsch oder Niederländisch zu sprechen ist eine Bereicherung.
Sogar Obwohl die meisten unserer Positionen mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung erfordern, sind einige offen für Neueinsteiger.
