Role Overview
Join a dynamic development team working on enhancing and extending a specialized IFRS17 accounting solution built on modern technologies. You will contribute to improving existing modules and implementing new features in a complex financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the IFRS17 tool and its modules.
- Develop improvements and new functionalities across actuarial, IFRS17 modeling, accounting postings, and consolidated reporting modules.
- Implement unit and integration tests for all developments.
- Collaborate with analysts to clarify data requirements and ensure accurate implementation.
- Execute developments in test environments and analyze resulting data.
- Document processes and maintain high-quality coding standards.
Required Profile
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, or Data Engineering.
- 4–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer in complex business environments (finance or risk preferred).
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with R and SQL (mandatory).
- Experience with Power BI (Intermediate level).
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing (Advanced level).
- Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure Data Factory, and MS DevOps.
- Experience with regulatory reporting (e.g., IFRS17).
Working Conditions
- Hybrid work: 3 days onsite in Brussels, remaining days remote.

In in Bezug auf nicht-technische Kompetenzen stellt ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS dynamische Personen ein, die in die Welt, interessiert an Innovation und mit einem ausgeprägten Gespür für Kunden Beziehung.
Ein sehr Gute Englischkenntnisse sind unerlässlich, die Fähigkeit, Französisch, Deutsch oder Niederländisch zu sprechen ist eine Bereicherung.
Sogar Obwohl die meisten unserer Positionen mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung erfordern, sind einige offen für Neueinsteiger.
