About the Role
Join a dynamic Agile/TechEx team as a Subject Matter Expert in IBM WebSphere ND & IBM Liberty. You’ll take charge of legacy WebSphere infrastructure, ensuring its stability while driving a strategic migration to a modern IBM Liberty private cloud solution.
You will play a key role in:
- Maintaining and enhancing a transversal WebSphere ND environment
- Designing and implementing the migration path to a Liberty-based cloud platform
- Collaborating across teams, including developers, architects, service providers, and platform engineers
- Ensuring alignment with enterprise technology roadmaps and delivering a future-proof platform
Your Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level run and change support for WebSphere environments
- Coordinate with infrastructure suppliers and development teams on cloud migration
- Drive the platform vision in collaboration with architecture and technology stakeholders
- Support mission-critical systems and work in a secure, high-availability production environment
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere ND (BASE) and IBM Liberty (v20 or higher)
- Strong knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Java-based applications, and TLS/SSL
- Solid experience with Red Hat Linux, networking, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven expertise in monitoring JVM performance
- Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, Continuous Deployment, Disaster Recovery, and security best practices
- Bonus: experience with Terraform, Ansible Tower, CaaS, Java, ServiceNow
Languages
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- French (recommended)
