Context
As part of strengthening our Data team, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join a high-impact project.
You will be working within a major public institution, on the front lines in the fight against cybercrime, terrorism, and organized trafficking.
The work environment is technically demanding and 100% on-premise, with massive volumes of data, strict security requirements, and a modern, performance-oriented architecture.
Your Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary Data team and actively contribute to the implementation of robust solutions for processing large-scale datasets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing an API to interconnect systems
- Developing an interface between a PostgreSQL database and a Python application
- Building and maintaining high-performance ELT pipelines using dbt
- Extracting, loading, and transforming complex data in a secure environment
- Contributing to a high-impact Agile project within a structured and rigorous framework
Stack & Expertise
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, plus one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Neo4j, Elastic, Milvus)
- Data Engineering: dbt, Airflow
- Languages: Python, SQL
- API Development: REST, SOAP, or GraphQL
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS), experience with Power BI
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in data engineering with solid on-premise experience

Soft Skills: Precision, autonomy, attention to detail, strong communication, and a team spirit
- Security Requirement: Must be eligible for a security clearance
Project Environment
- Long-term mission, structured in Agile methodology
- On-site presence required two days per week
- Strategic project within a sensitive and highly secure organization
