We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and support of critical integration interfaces within a demanding and structured environment.
The position is offered in a hybrid format: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Your Role
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of integration services, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support, documentation, and automation. You will work extensively with technologies such as IBM AppConnect Enterprise (ACE), IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), IBM MQ, and WSO2 MicroIntegrator, with a strong focus on SWIFT MT/MX message flows.
Main Responsibilities
Analysis & Design
- Analyse business and technical requirements, existing systems, and their integration interfaces, particularly in the area of SWIFT message processing.
- Design robust integration solutions aligned with industry best practices.
Development & Deployment
- Develop, test, and deploy message flows using IBM ACE, ITX, MQ, and WSO2.
- Implement and transform SWIFT messages (MT/MX).
- Perform interface customizations based on project needs.
Support & Operations
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents related to ESB services.
- Conduct analysis, fixes, and optimizations on ACE, ITX, MQ, and MicroIntegrator.
- Collaborate with middleware provider support teams when required.
Documentation & Testing
- Write technical documentation, user guides, deployment procedures, and design specifications.
- Participate in failover exercises and disaster recovery testing.
Automation
- Automate manual processes using Ansible and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Profile Required
Mandatory Requirements
- University degree in IT or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven Experience With:
- IBM AppConnect Enterprise (ACE)
- IBM Transformation Extender (ITX)
- IBM MQ
- WSO2 MicroIntegrator
- SWIFT message processing (MT/MX)
- Data transformation (XSLT, eSQL, etc.)
- MQ, SFTP, SOAP, REST protocols
- Java & SQL
- Authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT, certificates)
Key Skills
- Ability to analyse complex requirements and design secure, high‑performance integration flows.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with IBM ACE, ITX, MQ, and MicroIntegrator.
- Strong command of XML/JSON standards, SOAP, REST, JAXB, TLS, JMS, and WSSecurity.
- Rigor, autonomy, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
