What You’ll Do
As a Business Architect within the CMS department, you will:
- Define and implement the target Business Architecture in alignment with the CMS department’s strategy, including Business Capability Maps.
- Drive the development of the department’s Information Strategy, identifying Data Domains, Data Owners, and conceptual Business Information models.
- Lead the introduction of AI within business architecture processes.
- Identify and manage business and data products, supporting capability-driven decision-making and priority setting.
- Collaborate closely with Domain and Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define and validate Business Architecture Blueprints.
- Ensure alignment between CMS Business Architecture and other departments, as well as with IT architecture and roadmaps.
- Contribute to refining architecture methodologies, frameworks, tools, and training programs.
- Stay ahead of the latest developments and best practices in business and information architecture.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.
- At least 10 years of experience in business and information architecture.
- Master’s degree in civil or commercial engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Strong understanding of Customer, Markets, and System activities in the utilities sector is a major advantage.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Expertise in Business Architecture frameworks, Domain Driven Design, software integration patterns, and modern data architectures (Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Mesh).
- Experience with AI implementations in a business architecture context.
- Proficiency in UML, BPMN, and Archimate.
- Systemic thinking, initiative-taking, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
Location & Work Setup
- Based in Brussels, with onsite presence required approximately 2 days per week.
- Full-time position.

Sogar Obwohl die meisten unserer Positionen mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung erfordern, sind einige offen für Neueinsteiger.
