AISB-760 Interface & Data Migration Analyst (Healthcare Integration)

At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS we are looking for Interface and Data Migration Analysts to join a major healthcare transformation program. You will play a key role in designing and implementing interfaces and data migration processes between hospital information systems. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will ensure reliable interoperability, accurate data exchange, and traceability, directly contributing to improved patient care and operational efficiency.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces using Mirth Connect
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (HL7 v2/v3, FHIR)
- Design and execute data migration and transformation flows (clinical, administrative, reference data)
- Analyze source systems, data models, and business rules to ensure accurate data mapping
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, medical staff, administration, analysts) to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and interoperability issues
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability across systems
- Write functional and technical documentation
Your Profile
- Experience with Mirth Connect or similar ETL/integration tools
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, data mapping, and data quality controls
- Solid skills in SQL and relational databases
- Good understanding of HL7 standards and healthcare interoperability protocols
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience with RESTful APIs (SOAP is a plus)
- Knowledge of Java or JavaScript is an asset
- Experience with Epic interfaces or data migration is a strong plus
- Ability to write clear functional and technical specifications
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Experience developing or migrating data to/from Epic systems
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or French
