We are currently looking for an experienced Network Architect (Cloud) to support a major IT initiative within a large, multicultural European environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based network architectures, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across complex infrastructures.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and evolve cloud-based network architectures aligned with enterprise standards and security requirements
- Implement scalable and resilient networking solutions within hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Oversee the integration of cloud networking components, including routing, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and connectivity services
- Collaborate with cloud engineers, security teams, and infrastructure specialists to support end-to-end solution delivery
- Conduct performance assessments, troubleshoot network issues, and recommend enhancements
- Produce clear documentation, architectural diagrams, and technical guidelines
Your Profile
- Strong experience as a Network Architect with deep understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Proven expertise in network design principles: segmentation, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SD-WAN, and firewalls
- Familiarity with cloud-native networking services and infrastructure-as-code approaches
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Ideally 8+ years of professional experience overall and a Bachelor’s degree
