We are looking for an experienced and driven Project Lead / Project Manager (m/f/d) to oversee and deliver IT and digitalization initiatives within a dynamic and complex environment. This role offers a hybrid working model, with the main assignment location in Düsseldorf and a high degree of remote flexibility.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and successfully deliver IT and digitalization projects, potentially handling multiple initiatives in parallel
- Take full ownership of project objectives, including timeline, scope, quality, and budget
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders across IT, business units, and external service providers
- Ensure effective project controlling, including status reporting, as well as proactive risk and action management
- Support initiatives related to system modernization or replacement, technology selection, and go-live phases
- Contribute to projects involving test-supported software development and quality assurance where applicable
Your Profile
- Degree in IT or a related field (Bachelor or University of Applied Sciences), an “Operative Professional” qualification, or equivalent practical experience (minimum 6 years in IT)
- At least 3 years of experience leading technical projects, particularly implementation or digitalization initiatives
- Certification in project management (e.g., MSP, P3O, Scrum, PRINCE2, IPMA, PMP/PMI)
- Strong command of German (C1 level or native proficiency)
- Willingness to comply with formal obligations and undergo security clearance procedures
Nice to Have
- Experience managing complex IT projects involving multiple technologies
- Knowledge of test management, test automation, and go-live processes
- Familiarity with structured environments involving institutional or regulated stakeholders
