About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on System Administrator with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to join a dynamic team. This is not a typical IT support role—it’s an application support position where you will interact directly with customers in Germany and internationally, both proactively and reactively.

You will ensure smooth operations of customer-specific systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform in-depth technical analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems in a practical way, solving problems, and taking responsibility for ongoing IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on customer-specific systems in production.
  • Perform log and system analysis at database, OS, and peripheral system levels.
  • Test databases, services, and processes to ensure reliability.
  • Work with heterogeneous hardware and software versions.
  • Execute system administration and maintenance tasks.
  • Support deployments and perform technical root cause analysis.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Technical Requirements

  • Professional training or degree in IT (ideal: Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of networks, Windows servers, and operating systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret logs effectively.
  • Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems.
  • Advantageous: PowerShell scripting skills.
  • General: A technical all-rounder who enjoys deep system analysis and structured problem-solving.

  • Spanish: Nice to have
