About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on System Administrator with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to join a dynamic team. This is not a typical IT support role—it’s an application support position where you will interact directly with customers in Germany and internationally, both proactively and reactively.
You will ensure smooth operations of customer-specific systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform in-depth technical analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems in a practical way, solving problems, and taking responsibility for ongoing IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on customer-specific systems in production.
- Perform log and system analysis at database, OS, and peripheral system levels.
- Test databases, services, and processes to ensure reliability.
- Work with heterogeneous hardware and software versions.
- Execute system administration and maintenance tasks.
- Support deployments and perform technical root cause analysis.
- Ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction.
Technical Requirements
- Professional training or degree in IT (ideal: Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration or similar).
- Strong knowledge of networks, Windows servers, and operating systems.
- Ability to read and interpret logs effectively.
- Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Advantageous: PowerShell scripting skills.
- General: A technical all-rounder who enjoys deep system analysis and structured problem-solving.

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
