As a Databricks Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of Lakehouse projects in the Azure Cloud. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on Databricks, bringing innovative approaches to each project. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver efficient, data-driven solutions while ensuring high quality, governance, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated machine learning pipelines, including training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Develop and manage feature stores for reusable ML features.
- Integrate MLOps practices to ensure scalability, stability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, BI teams, and business units to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance throughout all processes.
- Share knowledge and foster innovative approaches within the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience implementing Lakehouse projects with Databricks.
- Strong expertise in Databricks, Spark (especially PySpark), and Delta Lake.
- Experience with feature engineering and production-ready machine learning processes.
- Knowledge of Delta Lake mechanisms, data modeling concepts, and real-time streaming architectures (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs, Spark Structured Streaming).
- Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and version control tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Git).
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with business stakeholders.
