We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager (CMDB & IT Governance) to lead strategic IT initiatives focused on IT governance, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), IT service transformation, and process improvement. You will work in a complex environment involving multiple technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality objectives are met. You will also support change management initiatives and promote best practices in project management and IT governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve a CMDB aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
- Coordinate multiple internal teams and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support organizational change management initiatives.
- Monitor project risks, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide guidance on IT governance best practices.
- Coach, mentor, and train team members to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and management.
- Prepare project reports and monitor overall project progress.
Required Profile
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects.
- Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and PRINCE2 project management methodologies.
- Solid experience implementing and managing a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes and IT governance frameworks.
- Experience developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
- Proven experience in Change Management.
- Ability to coordinate multiple teams and external suppliers simultaneously.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and delivering training.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is highly preferred.
- CISA or another IT Governance certification is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
