We are looking for an IT Project Manager to drive strategic and high-impact technical initiatives within a large-scale SAP ecosystem.
Your Mission
As an IT Project Manager, you will take full ownership of end-to-end delivery of technical infrastructure projects, focusing on SAP On-Premise environments. You will play a central role in driving transformation, modernization, and operational excellence.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, SAP experts, and external partners to ensure successful execution of critical programs.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Structuring
- Define project scope (technical, architectural, security, operational, and financial)
- Build and manage detailed project plans, milestones, and dependencies
- Identify and mitigate risks (technical, operational, vendor-related)
- Align initiatives with overall IT strategy and business priorities
- Ensure clarity of roles across internal teams and external stakeholders
Infrastructure Transformation & Migrations
- Lead complex server and infrastructure migration initiatives
- Coordinate impact assessments, planning, and execution across environments (DEV, TEST, PROD)
- Ensure readiness across infrastructure layers (network, storage, backup, monitoring, security)
- Oversee test phases, cutover strategy, and post-migration validation
- Manage go-live and transition to operations teams
Database Optimization & Transformation
- Drive database transformation projects (including migration strategies and optimization)
- Collaborate with SAP Basis, DBAs, and infrastructure teams
- Ensure stability, performance, and compliance throughout transitions
- Track cost optimization opportunities and business benefits
Technical Roadmap Coordination
- Facilitate workshops with architects and technical teams
- Consolidate and prioritize technical initiatives into a clear roadmap
- Manage delivery sequencing, dependencies, and resource allocation
- Provide clear reporting and decision support for governance bodies
Security & Compliance Coordination
- Contribute to cybersecurity and compliance initiatives (e.g., regulatory frameworks)
- Track remediation plans and risk mitigation actions
- Ensure security requirements are embedded into infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with security and compliance stakeholders
Your Profile
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in infrastructure or technical environments
- Strong background in migration projects (servers, databases, or critical platforms)
- Solid understanding of On-Premise infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, security, monitoring)
- Experience managing complex dependencies and multi-stakeholder environments
- Ability to work with internal teams and external vendors
- Strong skills in planning, risk management, reporting, and governance
- Exposure to cybersecurity or compliance topics is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP environments is a strong advantage
